Rain to Continue in Kerala; Very Heavy Rain Likely in 6 Districts The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated Heavy to Very Heavy Rain in several central and northern Kerala districts today (July 8), according to its latest five-day rainfall outlook. Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Wayanad are likely to receive Isolated Heavy to Very Heavy Rain (ISOL.
H to VH). Meanwhile, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Palakkad, Kannur, and Kasaragod are expected to receive Isolated Heavy Rain (ISOL.
H). For Thiruvananthapuram and Kollam, the IMD has forecast Light to Moderate Rain (L to M).
Heavy Rain to Continue in Some Districts Tomorrow On July 9, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragod are expected to continue receiving Isolated Heavy Rain, while the remaining districts are likely to experience Light to Moderate Rain. Rainfall Intensity to Ease from July 10 to 12 From July 10 to July 12, the IMD expects rainfall intensity to decrease across Kerala, with Light to Moderate Rain forecast for all districts.
