കോട്ടയം: ( www. ) മീനച്ചിലാറ്റിലെ മുത്തോലി കടവിൽ കുളിക്കാനിറങ്ങിയ വിദ്യാർഥി ഒഴുക്കിൽപെട്ട് മരിച്ചു. തൊടുപുഴ ഇടവെട്ടി ചൂരോലിതൊട്ടിയിൽ സി. ബിൻഷാദിന്റെ മകൻ മുഹമ്മദ് അഫ്രീൻ (21) ആണ് മരിച്ചത്.

ശനിയാഴ്ച വൈകീട്ട് 4:45-ഓടെയായിരുന്നു അപകടം. മുത്തോലിയിലെ ഹോസ്റ്റലിൽ താമസിച്ച് പഠിച്ചുവരികയായിരുന്നു അഫ്രീൻ. രണ്ടുപേരാണ് വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇറങ്ങിയത്.

വിവരമറിഞ്ഞെത്തിയ പാലാ ഫയർഫോഴ്സ് സംഘവും ഈരാറ്റുപേട്ടയിലെ ടീം എമർജൻസി അംഗങ്ങളും ചേർന്നാണ് മൃതദേഹം പുറത്തെടുത്തത്. മൃതദേഹം പാലാ ജനറൽ ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റി.
